When completing the ‘Get in Touch’ form you are asked to enter your name, email address and phone number. The form itself is protected by reCAPTCHA and is subject to Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Condition. You may, however, visit the Annie B Bakes™ site anonymously.
You may be asked to provide feedback directly to the business email address to further improve Annie B Bakes™ products, your experience and to better respond to individual needs.
What does Annie B Bakes™ use your information for?
Any information collected via the ‘Get in Touch’ form is emailed to a secure business email address, with a single-access logon not available to anyone else. Direct email communications are offered the same protections.
Any information collected/provided will not be used for marketing purposes, unless agreed in writing.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT POLICY
For celebration cakes, a 50% deposit is required to confirm and hold a reservation. The deposit is refundable in full 30 or more days before the event, minus a £25 transaction fee for consultation services rendered. The remainder of payment is due no later than seven days before delivery/collection, unless otherwise agreed. The balance must be received by the due date indicated or the contract is deemed null and void, and the deposit will not be refunded.
For wedding cakes, your initial deposit (booking fee) of £100 reserves your event date and is non-refundable and non-transferable. This payment secures your chosen date and covers the required time needed for organising your order, which may include administration, consultation, phone calls, emails, etc. Final payment is due ONE MONTH before the wedding date. Late or no payment is subject to cancellation. A single reminder will be sent, and if no further payment is made the order will cancelled and the contract deemed null and void.
Deposits and full payments can be made via bank transfer.
ORDER AMENDMENTS
Annie B Bakes understands that sometimes circumstances occur which can result in you wanting to amend your order. Please contact Annie B Bakes as soon as possible to ensure any changes can be actioned. Normally the date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavours of the cake. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges. Please note that a 10% maximum reduction in cost is allowable.
DELIVERY POLICY
Delivery charges (if applicable) will be explained at the time of ordering. Please note that all wedding cakes and 3 or more tiered cakes must be delivered.
COLLECTION POLICY
If you or your representative elect to collect and set up the cake, transport instructions will be provided. Annie B Bakes will not be held responsible for any disasters that may occur in transit, and you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our premises.
STORAGE POLICY
To ensure optimum quality of our bakes, please consume cupcakes / cakesicles / meringues / hot chocolate bombs within 2 days, and cakes within 3 days. All bakes should be kept out of direct sunlight, on a flat surface at room temperature in the box provided, away from animals and persons with allergies. Freezing or refrigeration is not recommended, except in the case of Brownies or Blondies. Annie B Bakes will not be held liable for unfavourable outcomes of incorrectly stored products.
Please note: Sugar paste Icing / Fondant may crack as it dries out, which is out of our control and why Annie B Bakes recommend you consume your cake as soon as it is cut.
FOOD ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Annie B Bakes™ is NOT an allergy-free kitchen. Our products may contain or come into contact with eggs, milk, wheat, gluten, nuts, soy, and other allergens. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify guests of this risk and Annie B Bakes™ will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to any products.
Please note that some food colourings may have an adverse effect on child behaviour.
COLOURS AND DESIGN
With regards to cake orders:
The customer is more than welcome to supply an image of the required design, but due to copyright laws, in certain instances Annie B Bakes™ might not be able to provide an exact replica.
Annie B Bakes™ encourages the provision of sample colours in the form of swatches (ribbon/material), however an exact colour match cannot be guaranteed, especially with regards to food colourings and icings. Rest assured, every effort will be made to meet your requirements.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check that any wording on the order form is correct, and Annie B Bakes™ will not be held responsible for any errors occurring due to misinterpreted wording.
Annie B Bakes reserves the right to exercise artistic license in order to guarantee the structural, visual, and creative integrity of a dessert structure.
NON-EDIBLE ITEMS
The majority of cakes contain small amounts of inedible items, such as support dowels, wires, flowers picks, flower tape, ribbon and other decorative details. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that these items are removed by your guests/caterer before consumption. Annie B Bakes™ will always provide a list of inedible items upon collection of the cake.
FRESH FLOWERS
If fresh flowers are required on a wedding cake, it is the customer’s responsibility to source the florist/flowers, unless specifically agreed with Annie B Bakes™. If flowers are to be arranged on the cake by Annie B Bakes™, there will be an hourly rate charge, as additional items such as flower tape and flower picks are required. The customer acknowledges that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants. The onus is on the customer to ensure that any fresh flowers displayed on or next to the cake do not contain pesticides and are food-safe. Annie B Bakes™ will not take responsibility for the flowers being food-safe.
SET-UP
Annie B Bakes™ will not be held responsible for any damages to the cake after setup is complete. The customer is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and an optimal room temperature of 24°C or below.
EQUIPMENT DETAILS
If your cake requires equipment such as columns, cake plates or a stand, a security deposit must be left with Annie B Bakes™ at the time of final payment in order to ensure safe return of the equipment. The security deposit will be returned when the equipment is returned to Annie B Bakes™ in original condition no later than one week past the event date. The security deposit is forfeit if equipment is not returned by the equipment return date.
PHOTOGRAPHY
On occasion Annie B Bakes™ will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation by the customer:
For celebration/bespoke cakes –
If the order is cancelled within four weeks of your event, 50% of the full payment will be invoiced. If the order is cancelled on or within fourteen days of the event date, your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment is required for any and all expenses already incurred on behalf of the finished product.
For wedding cakes –
Any cancellations within six months of the date will be invoiced for 50% of the full payment, and cancellations within three months of the date will have 75% of the full payment invoiced. This covers Annie B Bakes™ for any monies lost from turning away other business for your order, as it is very unlikely we could re-fill the date at such short notice. Full payment will be retained for any cancellations within one month of the event date.
For any other orders -
Cancellation within two weeks of the event date will see 50% of the full payment being retained. If the customer cancels within seven days of the event, full payment will be retained.
Cancellation by Annie B Bakes™:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as serious illness, Annie B Bakes™ will provide as much notice as possible if the order cannot be fulfilled. Annie B Bakes™ will endeavour to find someone else who can produce your order and will refund you any monies already paid.
Annie B Bakes™ shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside of my reasonable control, including but not limited to, any accident, act of government, act of war, act of God, adverse weather conditions, explosion, fire, flood, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, terrorism, traffic congestion, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.
Postponements:
In the unfortunate event that you wish to postpone your wedding, please let me know as soon as possible. Your previous booking will be considered cancelled and will be subject to the Cancellation Policy and a new booking will be placed for the new date. New bookings will be subject to any price increases since the original booking was made. If you are postponing more than three months in advance then any monies paid in regards to the booking fee will be carried over to your new date. Unfortunately, any postponements made within three months of the event date will require a new booking fee to be paid.
COMPLAINTS
All cakes require a signature on delivery / collection, which indicates that you are happy with the product received. If for some reason you are not happy with your order, please ensure you make this known when accepting your cake, as this allows Annie B Bakes™ to rectify any problems. Annie B Bakes™ is not responsible for errors made by the customer i.e. incorrect / misspelled names or incorrect choice of cake. Photographs will always be taken of the cakes prior to delivery / collection.
Annie B Bakes™ aims to provide customers with beautiful, bespoke cakes and bakes, and a great service. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact Annie B Bakes™ within 24 hours of receipt of the cake. In some instances, further investigation may be required, which would mean an immediate refund is not possible. At least 75% of the uneaten product must be returned to Annie B Bakes™ within 24 hours of delivery to enable a fair assessment of the nature of the complaint. To be eligible for refund, all products provided by Annie B Bakes™ must have been stored in the correct manner, according to the storage advice given.
Refunds will not be provided for customers that have simply changed their mind or if the cake has been damaged after collection / delivery. In addition, complaints are not accepted based on the taste of our products, due to the difference in individual's tastes.
